Under the hood of the Huawei Pocket 2 is a Kirin 9000s chipset.
China unveiled the Huawei Pocket 2 on Thursday, February 22. With four back camera units, this is the first clamshell folding smartphone ever to be released. The 1.15-inch cover display of the device is housed in another round cutout beneath the circular module housing the sensors in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The Kirin 9000s SoC-powered phone comes with three RAM and storage options, four color options, and an extra, more costly Art variation.

The Huawei Pocket 2, which comes with 12GB of RAM and is available in Elegant Black, Rococo White, Tahitian Grey, and Taro Purple colorways, is priced in China at CNY 7,499 (about Rs. 86,400) for the 256GB model. The 512GB and 1TB variants cost CNY 7,999 (about Rs. 92,200) and CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,03,700), respectively.
The Huawei Pocket 2 is also offered in an Art version, which costs CNY 10,999 (about Rs. 1,26,800) and has a greater 16GB + 1TB configuration.
Features and characteristics of the Huawei Pocket 2
6.94-inch LTPO OLED panel with variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, PWM dimming rate of 1,440Hz, touch sampling rate of 300Hz, peak brightness level of 2,200 nits, and aspect ratio of 21:9 makes up the Huawei Pocket 2’s internal display. In contrast, a 1.15-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels is used for the cover screen. A Kirin 9000s SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage powers the device. In terms of cameras, Huawei’s Pocket 2 has a quad back camera unit that consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). It also features an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 2-megapixel hyperspectral camera, and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The inside display has a hole-punch opening in the center that accommodates a 10.7-megapixel front camera sensor.
Additionally, a 4,520mAh battery with support for 40W wireless, 7.5W wireless reverse charging, and 66W wired charging is included in the Huawei Pocket 2 by the business. In addition, the phone has USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It is splash resistant and has an IPX8 rating.
