Meta AI on WhatsApp has become the go-to AI tool that many users may require.
Meta recently introduced a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability on its messaging app, WhatsApp, which has quickly gained popularity. This feature functions similarly to ChatGPT and allows users to generate images within the app.
It seems that Meta is continuing to develop its AI capabilities on WhatsApp, as it is now testing a new feature that enables users to analyze and edit images instantly.
On the WhatsApp beta version 2.24.14.20, users are being offered two new Meta AI capabilities. They can upload a photo and ask questions about it, as well as edit the photo using AI through text prompts. Users can upload images or take photos using the camera button in the bottom right corner. Meta also states that the uploaded images will be analyzed by AI, including facial features, and users can delete these photos at any time.
There is no confirmation about the full extent of image editing capabilities of Meta AI on WhatsApp at the moment. Based on other AI-powered image editing tools, it is expected that Meta AI should be able to remove objects, replace backgrounds, and adjust the appearance of images.
The Meta AI on WhatsApp is powered by the company’s latest and most advanced large language generative AI model, Llama 3. This AI model supports multimodality, meaning it can understand and generate responses in text, voice, and images.
In addition to WhatsApp, Meta has also integrated AI into its other popular platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. Users across these platforms can utilize the chatbot to swiftly receive responses or create images at no cost.
