An octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset and a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU power the Infinix Hot 40i.

On Friday, February 16, Infinix Hot 40i made its debut in India, following its initial unveiling in Saudi Arabia a few months prior. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and is powered by an octa-core Unisoc chipset. It is also said to have the first 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor in the segment, along with a dual rear camera system with AI support. The phone will be on sale in the nation later this month and comes in four color options.

India’s cost and availability of the Infinix Hot 40i
The Infinix Hot 40i is available in India in four color options: Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green. The 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 8,999, including bank offers. Flipkart is listing the 8GB + 256GB configuration for Rs. 9,999. Sales of the phone will begin in the nation on February 21.

Features & specifications of the Infinix Hot 40i
With a screen-to-body ratio of 89.7 percent and a 6.5-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz and 480 nits of peak brightness, the Infinix Hot 40i is a powerful device. An octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset, a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU, and up to 8GB of RAM power the device. Up to 16GB of virtual RAM can be added to the device. XOS 13.0, based on Android 13, is pre-installed.

The Infinix Hot 40i has two cameras on its back: a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an unidentified AI-backed sensor, both accompanied by a quad-LED ring flash. There are two flash units and a 32-megapixel sensor in the front camera.

The Magic Ring feature encircles the selfie camera’s central hole-punch slot on the Infinix Hot 40i. It is a foldable tab that functions similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island and provides users with easily understandable call and message notifications along with other critical alerts.

A 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging powers the Infinix Hot 40i. Up to 256GB of internal storage on the phone can be expanded to 1TB with a microSD card. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, FM, and NFC connectivity are also supported. The smartphone has an IP53 dust and splash resistance rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is 163.59 x 75.5 x 8.30 mm in size and weighs 190g.
