Because of the bigger battery, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to be 0.5 mm thicker than its predecessor.

Just one day after pictures of its larger sibling appeared online, purported renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 have been uncovered. The clamshell-style design, which is anticipated to launch later this year as the replacement for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, has been leaked in full by a tipster. Samsung’s upcoming small foldable phone may resemble the model that was introduced by the firm the previous year, down to the fold-flat design and twin camera arrangement oriented horizontally.

Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) revealed detailed computer-generated illustrations of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. The leak was made possible by Smartprix. From different perspectives, these pictures display the smartphone in a mint (green) colorway. According to the report, the smartphone is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2024, in line with the company’s prior launch plans.

According to the leaked renderings, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a 120Hz refresh rate 3.4-inch folder-shaped cover screen, which suggests that its specs would probably be the same as those of the previous year’s model. There is a dual camera setup in the upper left corner; its specifications are still unknown. Additionally, the hinge seems to be comparable to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (Review).

The internal screen of the Galaxy Z Flip has a 6.7-inch refresh rate and runs at 120 Hz. The renders show a slight crease where the phone is folded. According to the leaked specifications, this year’s smartphone displays won’t change.

According to the publication, the smartphone’s dimensions are expected to be 165.0×71.7×7.4mm. The marginal increase in thickness of 0.5mm may be attributed to the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s larger 4,000mAh battery. The phone also has up to 512GB of internal storage, up to 12GB of RAM, and Qualcomm’s top Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU. The phone is anticipated to launch with One UI 6.1, which is based on Android 14, and include some of the Galaxy AI features that were unveiled with the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones earlier this year.
