Oppo reveals the phones that will receive the AI features first in the ColorOS New Year Edition Update.

Oppo has updated its ColorOS with new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features. In addition to revealing the new features, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer also revealed a list of phones that will receive the features first at an AI strategy conference on Monday. The ColorOS New Year Edition update, which will be available for both Oppo and OnePlus smartphones in China, will add AI capabilities. It’s unclear if the worldwide operating system version will get access to these features as well.

Special attention has been paid to Xiaobu, the Chinese voice-activated assistant in ColorOS, which also receives a number of AI features. The company claimed that generative AI was utilized to enhance and add realism to its speech and dialogue functions. The assistant can now complete a greater number of general tasks in addition to more complex ones thanks to the addition of numerous new skills. The assistant now includes Xiaobu Photo Studio, which produces AI photos. Additionally, Xiaobu now offers an AI Greeting Cards feature that allows users to create personalized New Year greeting cards using AI.
With the ColorOS update, 16 smartphones from Oppo and OnePlus will be the first to get these AI features. It will only be accessible on Chinese smartphones for the time being. In addition to the Find X6 series, Reno 10 series, Find N3, Find N3 Flip, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Ace 3, OnePlus Ace 2, and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, these also include the newly released Oppo Find X7 and the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro, and OnePlus 12.
