Samsung says the One UI 5 Watch will focus on understanding sleep patterns, developing healthy habits and creating an optimized sleep environment for users to sleep.

The One UI 5 Watch also has improved user security features, including an Emergency SOS feature. In an emergency, if the user presses the home button on the Galaxy Watch five times in a row, it will automatically call an emergency number such as 119. The One UI 5 Watch will be tested in a beta program later this month in the US and South Korea via the Samsung Members app for Galaxy Watch 5 Series and Galaxy Watch 4 Series users.
