With its Neovision 3D Anytime technology, ZTE says it can instantly create 3D material from 2D photos.
The company’s second-generation tablet, the Nubia Pad 3D II, was launched at MWC 2024 and supports watching 3D content without the need for special glasses. This device has a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. ZTE claims that the tablet includes an AI processing engine and supports 5G connectivity. It is said that the integrated Neovision 3D Anytime technology can create 3D material instantly from 2D photos.
The pricing of the Nubia Pad 3D II has not yet been made public. In the future, the company is anticipated to announce the tablets’ availability in international markets. Since the Nubia Pad 3D, the device’s predecessor, was not released in India, it is still uncertain if the Nubia Pad 3D II would be brought there.
Specifications of the Nubia Pad 3D II
With a refresh rate of 144 Hz, the 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixel) display on the recently unveiled Nubia Pad 3D II. According to ZTE, it provides up to 100% better 3D brightness and up to 80% greater 3D resolution than the first-generation model. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm, together with an unused quantity of LPDDR5X RAM.
ZTE has also unveiled Neovision 3D Anytime, a technology that it claims can create 3D content from 2D photographs in real time using sophisticated AI neural network deep learning algorithms, along with its second-generation 3D tablet. This implies that 2D content, such as images, games, films, and streaming media, can instantly transition into 3D. The company claims that these 3D images function in both portrait and landscape orientations.
The 13-megapixel dual “Super Biomimetic Eye” back camera arrangement of the Nubia Pad 3D II is said to have a greater 3D shooting range than its predecessor for both still images and videos. The business claims that the front of the device has two 8-megapixel cameras that may be used for AI-supported eye tracking.
ZTE claims that the tablet has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It has four speakers that use DTX: Ultra audio. It has compatibility for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Miracast in addition to 5G connection. With a 10,000mAh battery that supports 66W cable charging, the tablet is power-efficient.
