The five countries with the most requests for account information were India, the United States, France, Japan, and Germany.

“Twitter continues to take action against content that violates our rules and protects our users’ rights in response to legal requests from the government,” the blog reads.

Between January and June 2022, Twitter asked users to remove 6,586,109 pieces of her content that violated our standards. This is a 29% increase from late 2021. According to Twitter, enforcement actions were taken against 5,096,272 accounts during the period, up 20%, and 1,618,855 accounts were suspended for rule violations, up 28%.

Removed content or suspended accounts may be subject to abuse/harassment, child sexual exploitation, hacked material, hateful behavior, identity theft, non-consensual nudity, perpetrators of violent crime, personal information. , promoting suicide or self-harm, sensitive media, terrorism/violent extremism and violence.
