Hematology of infancy and childhood: Third edition
These two volumes consist of 14 sections, each containing several chapters. The section titles are: History, Neonatal Hematology, Bone Marrow Failure, Disorders of Erythrocyte Production, Hemolytic Anemias, Disorders of Hemoglobin, The Phagocyte System, The Immune System, Oncology, Storage Disease, Coagulation, Genetics, Transfusion Therapy, and Hematologic Manifestations of Systemic Diseases. 
It is ten years since the previous edition of this textbook appeared. There has been extensive revision, with additional chapters on blood coagulation and immunohaematology. Many of the 20 colour plates are new, and there are 230 black-and-white illustrations. Normal haematological values for each species of domestic animal, and some wild animals, are tabulated. Scanning electron microscopy has been used to demonstrate the morphology of blood cells. There is a chapter on leukaemia, and another on the blood picture of some common diseases. This is the leading textbook on veterinary haematology.
